Explore The Seafood Shop Gourmet & Charcuterie

The Seafood Shop Gourmet & Charcuterie, located at 4873 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA, offers a unique and unforgettable dining experience that combines an eclectic atmosphere with exceptional seafood. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to a world of carefully curated decor, featuring touches of French, Italian, and Spanish influences, creating a warm, charming vibe reminiscent of a small, upscale grocery shop in Europe. The ambiance is complemented by soft music, providing a relaxing environment for both casual and special occasions.

The food at The Seafood Shop is nothing short of fresh and flavorful. Their seafood is top-notch, with a strong emphasis on quality. Many visitors rave about the sushi-grade tuna and salmon, noting the marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture that sets them apart. The yellowtail poke salad is another standout, praised for its freshness and vibrant taste. For those who enjoy shellfish, the clams, octopus, and calamari are a must-try, with special attention given to freshness, ensuring that the clams are carefully checked before they’re sold. The seaweed salad is well-seasoned, adding a delightful complement to the main dishes.

The shop’s offering is not just about food but also about an experience, with unique imported products that reflect the owner’s world travels. Whether you're in the mood for fresh seafood to take home or a quick bite, the shop provides both options. However, some have mentioned that the lobster rolls, while tasty, could use more lobster, as the rolls often feel more like lobster salad with plenty of sauce. Despite this, the overall quality and care taken with each dish make The Seafood Shop a worthy destination for any seafood enthusiast looking for both variety and quality in a charming setting.

Omg this place is a 100/10, the owner is sooo kind and lovely. We went for thier speakeasy Nori Night...omg! What a deal...I was soo full at the end of the meal. After the meal you still get to shop around which was amazing, so many unique items to choose from , italian goods, spanish things, japanese, cheeses, meats...100% worth a trip!

Best lobster roll deal in the area. Two lobster rolls with chips and a drink for only $25 . Definitely worth the drive and go check them out. Also, they sell high-quality fish , olive oil and any other items that you might need to cook with

Ok here we go my first part of 2026. Atmosphere - this place is beautiful in so many ways. From all the French, Italian and Spain decor there isn't an inch that doesn't catch the wire and attention. When walking in you have the euphoria of being teleport to a small grocery in Palermo or Paris. Merchandise - there are things in here that you know the owner has traveled around the world to cultivate her network of suppliers. Very little products of the US. Food - this is my only gripe about the place. They only serve lobster rolls, which I was excited about until I saw and tasted. Very little lobster. I would call them Lobster Salad Rolls. Very delicious but all sauce. All in all I would return maybe not for the lobster salad though

We had the speakeasy menu on a Saturday. Gorgeous atmosphere. Delicious food. The owner Leriza was super accommodating and volunteered to take a photo of my wife and I at our sweetheart table for 2. This is a deli fully cute date spot that even works for a group of 4-8. A really unique dining experience with fresh sushi hand rolls.

(Highly Recommended!) I recently tried the lobster rolls from the seafood shop and i was absolutely blown away! If you are looking for the absolute best lobster roll in the area, look no further. The lobster was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and served on a wonderfully buttery, toasted roll—it was truly a decadent and unforgettable experience. This shop clearly takes pride in both its product and its customer experience. I can't wait to go in person and try more of their selection, but seriously, get the lobster roll!

Great little shop!! I don't live close, was in the neighborhood, and have been wanting to stop in the Seafood Shop after hearing great things. I came close to closing time, we're talking about 10 minutes before. Regardless with being practically done with their day, I walk in and was delightfully greeted by "C" (we'll call him, bc I can't quite remember). He was very welcoming, showed me around the shop and mentioned they make lobster rolls. I said I'll take one! C explained the roll and I asked if it was possible to make it with no mayo - I'm more of a Connecticut Style girl and their lobster rolls come Maine Style (a little mayo, celery & chives). C wasn't familiar but was so sweet to make sure he prepared exactly the way I wanted it and together we made it happen! Even though I was the last person, he didn't hang his apron-- he gave a full experience, accommodated me, and educated me about their offerings and their handroll night. The lobster roll is actually an order for two rolls and a side of chips and came out to be $35. Everything in the shop is well curated. I'll definitely return way before closing time so I can properly shop and pick up some great items. The owners are also Filipino so bonus points as I love to support all our kababayans. Thank you!

Nori nights was such a lovely experience. The ambiance from the decor to the music was beautifully curated and gave off a quirky, speakeasy vibe that was perfect for a relaxing dinner with friends. The food was packed with flavor and incredibly delicious and the owner and staff were so sweet and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner. We also always get some parting gifts from the the Seafood Shop in the front for family. We'll be back soon!

I think I went here too many times in one week. Tried their yellowtail poke salad and it was the freshest yellowtail i had for poke. I also got clams and the person helped me made sure I didn’t have dead clams and gave me open bag and Ice to go (making sure the clams didn’t die during 7 min transit). The clams were delicious same as the octopus and calamari they sell. I also tried their Unagi. Although it says on their menu listing its $17/lb, the price went up to 16.95/ 8oz. Which to me is the same as 99 Ranch prices. Unagi tasted good though. What I really love at this place is their Sushi grade Salmon and Tuna. The cut in Salmon is great because its top to bottom where you get the lean and the fatty part of the salmon. It has great marbling and just melts in your mouth. Same with their Tuna. Super fresh tasting. Seaweed salad is seasoned well. Will definitely try their Oysters next time. I guess i’m just gonna go down the list and try all their seafood since its such a great price and quality.
